I love quotes. For a short time, I had been posting my own quote of the day and am so happy that FreshMommy has a weekly meme.
This week, I'd like to share a quote that has been on my mind daily. I work in the retail industry and while most customers greet me with the same courtesy or smile as I do them... some do not and are, well, rude. mean. condescending. are having a bad day and need someone to take it out on no matter how brief.
Yeah, that's me, a real live live person you are dumping on! I have feelings. I have three small children waiting on me at home who'd rather have me at home with them instead of sharing me with you.
But before I start to take it personal or a used punching bag, I discreetly take a deep breath, I remember...

That really is so true, we never know what other people are going through... and it's good to remember that when we're out as well, no matter what we're going through, we can still be kind to others! So glad you joined in! Great quote!!

So true! I have worked retail and I know what you mean! LOL I am one of those that hangs things back up that others drop on the floor.
i'm not a big fan of people as a general rule...its hard for me to see past their poor attitude but you are 100% right.

@Brook - Me either, really. I just try not to let their bad attitude rub off on me. When it happens, it ruins my whole day, for nothing. I don't even know the person. In turn, I try to be nice too cause if my bad day rubs off on someone, well.... I guess - Do unto others as you'd have done to you...
